Ace Enders Addresses Early November Reunion Rumors

Ace Enders has responded to an internet rumor that circulated recently regarding his former band, The Early November, reuniting:

"It seems like most of you understand now that Jeff's comment last week about the band getting back together wasn't true, but the responses I've seen got me thinking. I appreciate how so many of you still care about the band. It's really touching and I feel the same way that a lot of you do about the whole thing.

So I have an idea. I'm going to be combining the old with the new from now on. Serg and I will be on tour this summer playing a couple old TEN songs, I Can Make a Mess songs, and new AMDP songs full band with Jason and Will from A Million Different People.

It'll be a little different, but I started The Early November with an acoustic guitar, recording songs by myself in my parents' basement when I was 18. It's almost ten years later and I'm still doing everything the same as I've always done it, just with different people, and not in my parents' basement.

You can call it whatever you want to call it. The Early November, Ace Enders and A Million Different People, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, or maybe Early Enders Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business (although that sounds like it could be a really bad Adult film).

I'm going to be releasing an EP for this tour and it won't be under one specific band name, it will be all of them. There will be some brand new songs and I'll also be doing an acoustic version of one song from each of my bands. I'd like to hear suggestions of which songs to do. Maybe we'll do a chat or something in the next few days so we can all talk about it and decide together.

So if you're ready to get psyched, eat some bbq and rock out to some old, new and probably even newer songs then check out the tour dates and come out to a show. If you haven't picked up my new record When I Hit the Ground, please take a minute to check it out so you can come out and sing along at the shows.

I really want to thank everyone who has shown support in the past and present. I'm so excited to see all of you this summer!

The "BBQ Across America Tour" kicks off June 19th and is presented by AMP Energy Drink and Denny's AllNighter. Enders is touring in support of "When I Hit The Ground," his new album on Vagrant Records and this is his first headlining tour since the demise of The Early November. Prior to each show, Enders and his band, A Million Different People, along with other bands on the bill, will be hanging out one hour before doors open with fans who preorder tickets through the exclusive pre-sale link. Additionally, Enders and friends will host afterparties at Denny's as part of the Denny's Allnighter program, open to all fans.
