Adam Haworth Stephens, lead singer and songwriter of acclaimed duo Two Gallants, is excited to join The Felice Brothers for a seven-week fall tour. Beginning October 5th in Portland, OR, Stephens will hit the road with a brand new collection of songs from his debut solo album "We Live On Cliffs." To kick off the tour, Stephens will headline The Independent in his hometown of San Francisco, CA on October 2nd.
Set for a September 28th release on Saddle Creek, "We Live On Cliffs" is full of folk-rock songs that spotlight Stephens' gift for capturing and exploring the trials of love, loss and hope. With songwriting that has been praised by Pitchfork as "ambitious, heady, and riddled with histrionics" this debut recounts personal experiences with well-crafted visceral songs that share the same spirit and rebelliousness as some of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century. Stephens "shares the same spirit as a young, reckless Johnny Cash, or a pre-electric Bob Dylan" hails the NME.
Stephens will give fans a behind the scenes look at the making of this brilliant new album with a short that features personal footage taken during recording sessions, rehearsals and at home.
