Los Angeles based alt-rock artist AM has a new album "Future Sons & Daughters," available now exclusively via iTunes on Filter US Recordings, with a street date for retailers February 2, 2010. The album was recorded in Los Angeles in Elliot Smith's previous dwelling by producer Charles Newman (Magnetic Fields) and follows a debut release named by iTunes as one of the "Best Albums of the Year", and earning him the title of "Best Singer Songwriter of The Year" from LA Weekly.
AM recently returned from an East Coast tour with The Rescues and will be gearing up for a show at Spaceland with The 88 on September 22, 2009, as well as The Troubadour on October 8th, 2009.
The Echo Park resident, who goes by the moniker AM (also his initials), found inspiration for his new album in his own 1960s record collection of obscure Brazilian music and Italian soundtracks.
