Andrew W.K. Gets Ready For March Madness At SXSW

This March, party hard rocker Andrew W.K. is going to give a new definition to "March Madness." Andrew W.K. will embark on a journey to the South by Southwest (SXSW®) music festival in Austin, Texas (March 17- 21) to take part in several performances. Prior to heading to Austin, he will kick off his upcoming album release with a New York City show at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza where he will be joined by his full band, back together for the first time in five years.

His "lost" third album "Close Calls With Brick Walls" will be releasing nationwide on March 23rd. Previously released in Japan and Korea in 2006, it will be released by Steev Mike as a special two album package (the original "Close Calls With Brick Walls" on one disc, and an additional CD called "Mother Of Mankind," containing rare and unreleased material).

Rounding out this exciting and hectic release month, Best Buy in Union Square, New York City, will host Andrew W.K. for an in-store signing session for his new release on March 25th at 8:00pm.
