Brooklyn, NY's The Reveling has officially joined Black Numbers (Grey Area, Static Radio NJ, Go Rydell, PJ Bond) and will release its debut full-length, "Tributaries," with the New Jersey label on June 21, 2011. Recorded by Alex Newport (Frank Turner, At The Drive-In, Rival Schools, Samiam) at Big Blue Meenie and Futureshock Studios, and mastered by Jeff Lipton (Arcade Fire, Dead Milkmen, Piebald, Sebadoh), "Tributaries" features 10 tracks of propulsive, highly infectious working-class punk rock that is as catchy and immediate as it is textured and nuanced.
Much like The Reveling's well-received 2009 EP, "3D Radio," this new full-length is anchored by a punchy rhythm section and plenty of throw-your-fists-in-the-air anthems. Still, "Tributaries" finds the band in top songwriting form, tighter and more cohesive than ever, with an even greater emphasis on the soaring harmonies that made The Reveling so irresistible in the first place.
Absolutepunk.net is hosting an exclusive stream of the first single from the record, "Left At Forkright."
