Dan Black Readies Debut, Tour UK

Anyone who even glanced at the end of year polls for who to watch out for in 2009 won't have been able to miss Dan Black's name. Off the back of his incredible Notorious BIG cover "Hypntz" and the electro anti-love gem "Yours" - the Parisian-based-Englishman was hailed as one of the pop talents to watch out for in 2009 by critics across the board.

His highly anticipated forthcoming debut album will be released in May 2009 in the UK and is currently being recorded in an 18th Century cellar under Black's apartment in Paris, before it's mixed by Tom Elmhirst (Hot Chip, Amy Winehouse, The Kills) in London.

Catch Black and his band live on the road when they join Boy Crisis and Master Shortie on the Wonky Pop tour this month and March.
