FIB Heineken Add Vampire Weekend, Leftfield, Klaxons, The Courteeners

FIB Heineken, Festival Internacional de Benicassim, 2010 will take place in the concert venue of Benicàssim from 15th - 18th of July. Having already announced its first acts (The Prodigy, Kasabian, PiL, The Specials, Ian Brown and Dizzee Rascal), FIB Heineken 2010 continues to proudly turn out a delicious line-up with the additions of Vampire Weekend, Klaxons, Leftfield, and The Courteeners amongst many others.

New York's quartet, Vampire Weekend, released their debut album in 2008, bursting into the music world with a melodic frenzy and unique spirit. The start of 2010 saw the release of their new album, ‘Contra,' which continues to prick up music-loving ears across the world.

Since 2007, Klaxons have kicked up an electro-pop storm with their syncopated bases and contagious rhythms in album ‘Myths of the Near Future' (2007) and hits like ‘Gravity Rainbow' and ‘Golden Skanks.'

Paul Daley and Neil Barnes formed Leftfield in the London of the end of the 80's. Known for their single ‘Open Up,' with John Lydon singing, which had half of Europe dancing. Shortly after, their first album ‘Leftism' (1995) was published and less than a month ago, Neil Barnes announced his return after ten years.

Manchester's quartet, The Courteeners, Morrissey's personal favourites, made their debut in 2008 with ‘St. Judy.' Their second album ‘Falcon' (2010) is confirmed for release in the upcoming days, leaving fans on their edges of their seat.

Calvin Harris' last album ‘Ready for the Weekend' (2009) is, a declaration of intentions: make everyone dance. 100% danceable pop from Scotland. This young wonder has already worked with Groove, Armada, Kylie Minogue and Dizee Rascal among others.

Australian Cut Copy are pioneers on the hugely fashionable danceable rock scene that is breaking out across the world. 2004 was the year of their debut with ‘Bright Like Neon Love' but their last album ‘In Ghost Colours' (2008) is what has truly launched them to the front line.

The French musician, producer and DJ Pierre-Alexandre Busson, aka Yuksek, launched his first album ‘Away from the Sea' at the beginning of 2009 automatically becoming the new French clubpop sensation.

Magnetic Man, Skream and Benga are the spinal chord of London's avant-garde electronic scene. Magnetic Man will present live with Skream and Benga's support and DJ session.

Lastly in the new confirmations are national heroes, Los Ilegales, head the first confirmations of the Spanish bands, followed by Triángulo de amor bizarro, Jonston and Southern Arts Society.
