Fidlar Announce EP And Drop First Single On LA Times

White Iris Records, the label counterpart to Black Iris, a premiere recording studio and music collective, has announced the release of LA punk outfit Fidlar's limited edition "DIYDUI" 7" vinyl record. The four-tracklimited edition record is available on March 29 digitally and physically April 12 via White Iris. To celebrate the release, Fidlar is making the single "Max Can't Surf"available for free download.

The loud, garagey sounds of Fidlar hit you like that first rip of weed you took in the bathroom during class in high school. Raised on early '80s west coast punk, Zac Carper and Elvis Kuehn write trashy nuggets with a melodic CCR sensibility. Based in Highland Park, where they record demos and make weird youtube videos for every song they have, these dudes blend the brattiness of Redd Kross and the party mentality of Black Lips to form their own sound that is Fidlar.
