Foreign Born Announce US Tour With St. Vincent

2007 was indeed an impressive year for Foreign Born. The bar has been set pretty high for 2008 and not being ones to shy away from a challenge, they are going full steam ahead with a bevy of US tour dates with St. Vincent next month.

Live, Foreign Born is a completely different beast up on stage, dousing the audience in psychedelic symphonies coupled with a rare intensity in their delivery that simply elevates them into a whole new stature of rock and roll music and performance. Don’t be fooled by their laid back Californian stance in this musical arena we dwell, for this quartet have grown from a humble LA based buzz band, signed to Steve Aoki ’s Dim Mak label back in early 2007, they soon soared into becoming a well respected and critically acclaimed force to be reckoned with since the release of their impeccably infectious debut “On The Wing Now”. This debut album is one you’ll be pulling off the shell or up on your iTunes for years to come. The timeless structures and songwriting of On The Wing Now, produced by the band themselves, makes it so special as it ebbs and flows like a true classic. Taking the listener on a journey reminiscent to ones the likes of The Velvet Underground, U2, Snow Patrol, Jesus & Marychain and Dylan have taken you before over the years.
