Girl In A Coma Announce Covers Project

Girl In A Coma's upcoming series of vinyl and digital releases pay homage to their musical heroes with a 3 part cover record release. When the cover art from each release is pieced together, it forms a board game. The project is aptly titled "Adventures In Coverland" and the first single drops April 13th, with a new single released every week following.

At a recent show in San Antonio, the girls played some of the new songs including Joy Division's "Transmission," which is set to be released on Volume II out April 20th.

The San Antonio-based trio (comprising of sisters Nina and Phanie Diaz and their friend Jenn Alva) were cherry picked by Joan Jett for her Blackheart Records label, and have toured extensively with Morrissey, at the personal invitation of the man who penned the song that inspired their name.
