The Great Lake Swimmers will kick off the release of their new album Lost Channels with a Spring US tour on March 31 in Seattle. The Toronto band will be in fine form having spent the better part of March playing to sold out venues across their home country of Canada.
Great Lake Swimmers dip down south of the 49th just as buzz for their fourth album hits a new peak. Lead single "Pulling on a Line" was recently the 2nd Most Added song at AAA radio across the nation, beaten out only by U2. The new album has already been added to over 60 College and AAA stations across the country.
Meanwhile their brand new accompanying video got it's official debut on the newly revamped Pitchfork site this week. The Isaac Rentz directed video was shot in the late night hours on the storied hills of Topanga Canyon. With its plumes of pink smoke and motley crew of charters, it's best described as "Tom Sawyer meets David Lynch."
