Hot Water Music Announces Fall Headlining Shows Around Rise Against, Riot Fest Dates

Hot Water Music has announced that they are adding seven headline shows to their already ambitious touring schedule this Fall in Boston, Detroit, St Louis, Austin, El Paso, San Francisco, and Portland. The band previously announced they will be supporting Rise Against and Gaslight Anthem across the US and Canada, as well as performing on Riot Fest Brooklyn, Toronto and Chicago. Tickets to the newly announced shows go on sale Friday, June 29th.

In May, the band released Exister, their first album in eight years on Rise Records amidst glowing reviews and a #33 position on the Billboard Top 200. Rolling Stone says "[Exister] finds the quartet returning to their roots in aggressive, emotionally volatile music." While SPIN proclaimed, "After an eight-year hiatus, the post-hardcore heroes didn't outgrow anxiety, they gave it hooks." In its 4.5 star review, Alternative Press says, "Exister serves as a reminder that the thousands of bands aping this style of punk will never be as great as Hot Water Music."

Hot Water Music is Chuck Ragan (vocals, guitar), Chris Wollard (vocals, guitar), Jason Black (bass), and George Rebelo (drums). Exister was produced by Bill Stevenson and was released on May 15, 2012 on Rise Records.
