M For Montreal Announces Fourth Annual SXSW Showcases

For the fourth year in a row, M for Montreal is taking its show on the road to Austin, Texas, to bring SXSW festivalgoers the best of Montreal's unparalleled music! La Patère Rose, Lovely Feathers, Parlovr, Beast, Think About Life and We Are Wolves will proudly represent Montreal at the showcase on March 18 at Paradise, 401 East 6th Street. M for Montreal is also proud to present two additional daytime showcases for 2010: Montreal Vs. Toronto on Friday March 19th and the M for Montreal/Brooklyn Vegan official SXSW day party on Saturday March 20th.

For those who prefer not to start the evening on an empty stomach, an opening cocktail will be presented by Bande à Part and attendees can enjoy a delicious free poutine! Be there by 6:30 to enjoy and hear Radio Radio.

Montreal vs. Toronto

Always competing for the title of THE Canadian cultural metropolis, Montreal and Toronto will be having a friendly and particularly musical confrontation on March 19. Representing Montreal: Radio Radio and Silver Starling and on the other side of the rink, Little Girls, DD/MM/YYYY and Lights will be carrying the Toronto colors.

Oh and there's free booze and food!
