Mando Diao – who is currently on a European Festival tour - will perform at the Live Earth Festival this Saturday July 7, 2007. Live Earth is a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series organized by Al Gore and Kevin Wall (of Live 8) that will bring together more than 100 musicians and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis. Mando Diao will be appearing in Hamburg, Germany along with many other notable musicians committed to helping to bring attention to this critical issue, including Snoop Dogg, Chris Cornell. The Live Earth concert series will be broadcast live on Sirius Satellite Radio.

On July 14, 2007, Sirius' "Left of Center" will also exclusively premier Mando Diao's recent performance at Germany's Rock am Ring Festival – where they headlined alongside Smashing Pumpkins to a crowd of 100,000! This segment will also include an exclusive interview with the band about their involvement with Live Earth.

On May 25, 2007, the band capped off a 17-date North American tour with their debut US television performance on Conan O'Brien. The dates included a performance at the Coachella Festival, sold-out shows at New York's Bowery Ballroom and Los Angeles' Troubadour as well as an intimate set at the SPIN offices for the magazine's Spinhouse Live concert series.

"Ode To Ochrasy" has received rave reviews since its April release. Reviewing their Washington, DC show, the Washington Post wrote, "The band revealed itself as utterly in control. It could teeter on the edge of mayhem, but such songs as "The Wildfire (If It Was True)" were as carefully structured as Abba's "Dancing Queen”....Mando Diao proved itself the rare power-pop band whose three-part harmonies don't turn to mud onstage." Recently featuring the band, Playboy proclaimed, "Nobody else can toss off perfect punky pop songs one after another the way Mando songwriters Gustaf Norén and Bjorn Dixgård do." SPIN praised Ochrasy for its "masterful melodies" and New York Times declared "Mando Diao is exuberant, making sure pop tunes emerge out of the hurtling music."
