Could Mark Lanegan finally be putting his collaborations and contributions to the side and returning to his solo career? Lanegan fan website OneWhiskey.com has announced dates for most of the spring for the singer in Europe. The dates show him scheduled to perform in Poland on March 27th for Life Along the Borderline: A Tribute To Nico before properly kicking off his solo tour a month later on April 20th in The Netherlands. Lanegan is scheduled to wrap the solo tour up May 17th in Barcelona. Duke Garwood is listed as the solo tour's support act.
Lanegan's last solo album, "Bubblegum," was released in 2004. Since then he's been one half of The Gutter Twins as well as a contributor to projects with Isobel Campbell, Soulsavers, and The Twilight Singers. Lanegan's contributed to the forthcoming UNKLE album "Where Did The Night Fall" as well as the new Bomb The Bass album "Back to the Light."
