MiniBoone Release "Cool Kids Cutout Of The Heart Itself" Video, Tour Dates

Brooklyn buzz band MiniBoone is one of 8 NYC Bands You Need to Hear, according to The L Magazine, the influential New York music and arts publication. The list is culled annually by The L's music editors and has featured breakout artists like The Pains of Being Pure At Heart and Vampire Weekend. The L Magazine is available for free on newsstands across NYC and boasts a circulation of 105,000.

To celebrate the occasion, MiniBoone will be playing a special "Bands You Need to Hear" concert alongside fellow L Mag-selected bands Ava Luna and Ball of Flame Shoot Fire on April 6 at Cake Shop in Manhattan. They will also be offering their 2010 release "Big Changes" (Drug Front Records) for $1 via Bandcamp with the discount code LMAG.

Lastly, the band is happy to debut their new music video for "Cool Kids Cutout of the Heart Itself." The video, directed by the band and Jesse Garrison, is a high-energy flurry of MiniBoone's trademark weirdness, featuring everything from fake blood and Gatorade to shaving cream and fingerpaint.
