Murder By Death Announce Summer Dates With MewithoutYou

Murder By Death has announced a two-week summer jaunt in support of their most recent release "Good Morning, Magpie." Beginning August 3, Murder By Death will be gracing the stage alongside mewithoutYou throughout the midwest and northeastern states until the middle of the month.

The Indiana natives released their fifth full-length on April 6 (via Vagrant) and immediately landed the #5 spot on Billboard's Heatseeker's Chart as well as a debut appearance on Billboard's Top 200 Chart. For the entire month of June, Amazon.com is offering the digital version of "Good Morning, Magpie" for only $5.

"Good Morning, Magpie" has been garnering much-deserved praise from the press with The New Yorker proclaiming that the album is, "the four-piece's most accomplished work to date. The eleven new songs find Turla's deep and arid bass-baritone pitted against a tumbledown bricolage of dark vaudeville hysterics and Southern Gothicism."

Prior to Murder By Death's tour with mewithoutYou, the band will be appearing at the Land of Nod Experiment music and art festival in July in Jackson, Michigan. Ticket information can be found below.
