Returning as an official sponsor of the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, Old Shoe Records will have four artists performing throughout the summer long trek. A huge feat for an independent label, of the four bands on the tour, three (Flatfoot 56, Far From Finished, The Sparring) will also be debuting full-length studio releases prior to the summer. To preview the return of street punk to the Vans Warped Tour, Old Shoe Records will host a unique party during SXSW week in Austin, Texas as part of the Red Gorrila Festival. Friday, March 19th, 2010. Old Shoe artists and Warped Tour participants, Longway and The Sparring will take over Darwin's Pub, in Austin's hub of 6th St. The daytime showcase will include plenty of tall cans of Lone Star and a preview of the kind of street punk long making a profound return to music.

Earning unanimous praise the last two summers, Longway will showcase songs from their follow-up record "Junkie," including the single "Honey" recorded with Patricia Day of Horrorpops. Rounding out this unique showcase is the hardcore, punk rock juggarnaut that is The Sparring. Fronted by former Dear & Departed drummer Joel Bourne, this four-some have emerged as one of the most exciting new names in the genre. Their debut on Old Shoe Records will also hit shelves early summer prior to the trek all summer long on the Vans Warped tour. Rounding out the daytime punk rock party is the stateside debut of UK band Middle Finger Salute, California's brash punk rock pushers Disguster, and Black Market Syndicate.
