  • Amorphis' ground-breaking album, "Tales From The Thousand Lakes," has been inducted into Decibel Magazine's illustrious ‘Hall of Fame.' The trail-blazing 1994 release is featured in Decibel's October 2010 issue (#072) with Iron Maiden on the cover available on newsstands now or online. The seven-page feature story as written by Chris Dick, includes interviews with all five Amorphis members about the making of their watershed release.
  • California's Murder Construct have posted a new track, "Control," online now via the band's MySpace page. "Control" comes from the band's forthcoming debut EP that is expected to see its release this November.
  • California blackened death horde Valdur unleashed their long-awaited new full-length "Raven God Amongst Us" upon unsuspecting masses earlier this summer. Featuring nine tracks of sonic decay, the self-financed long player was recorded at Trench Studios and released via drummer Sxuperion's own BloodyMountain Records.
