  • Norwegian black metallers Den Saakaldte have recruited longtime Carpathian Forest drummer Anders Kobro to replace the departing Uruz. Kobro will join the band immediately and begin rehearsing for the band's upcoming live appearances and recording sessions. The band recently inked a deal with Pulverised Records for the release of their second full-length album, due later this year.
  • The Bromheads have released their newest single, "Magic Number," for free online at their website.
  • Ash stayed busy over the holidays releasing another Single F: "Pripyat," as well as a video for the track, There's also a new video for Single H: "Space Shot" - the single isn't out until January 18th, so catch this sneak peek! And, as of this week, Ash are onto Single G: "Ichiban."
  • Transcend have announced the signing of a worldwide management deal with Imperial Vengeance, a British extreme metal act formed in 2007 by C. Edward Alexander and David Bryan.
