- Check out the video for "Oslo Novelist" from Grand Archives. This is Grand Archives’ first video from their September 15th release, "Keep in Mind Frankenstein."
- Check out the video for "The Ruminant Band" from Fruit Bats. Fruit Bats released their 3rd Sub Pop release, "The Ruminant Band," on August 4th, and they managed to get this video shot before they took off on their end of the summer tour.
- Check out the "Here Come the Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized" trailer from The Decemberists. "Here Come the Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized" is a collaboration between the band and four filmmakers, Guilherme Marcondes, Julia Pott, Peter Sluszka and Santa Maria -- each of whom have created an animation to accompany a section of the music.
- Kings of Convenience's "Declaration of Dependence" is streaming on MySpace now. The album hits US shores this Tuesday, October 20th.
- Rise Records have signed Indiana hardcore band Continuance. Featuring members of Means and Saints Never Surrender, Continuance will release their debut album in the Spring of 2010. Look for them on tour this Fall.
- The title track from "Black Future" has been added to the Vektor's MySpace page. The debut full length album, "Black Future," from Arizona-based virtuosic thrashers Vektor will be released worldwide on November 17th.
