Quick Hits & Clips: Midlake, Initials, Rise Against, Blackmarket

• Midlake's Tim Smith put together a list of songs that served as inspiration for the band's upcoming "The Courage of Others" and then created a LaLa playlist.
• Initials have added drummer Josh Eppard (ex-Coheed & Cambria) to their line-up. The band includes Fred Mascherino (ex-Taking Back Sunday, The Color Fred, Breaking Pangaea), Andy Jackson (Hot Rod Circuit), and Steve Lucarelli (ex-Once Nothing).
• Rise Against have posted the "performance version" of their video for "Savior" saying, "We received so much great feedback from our last music video, "Savior", [sic] so we decided to compile another version of the video for everyone to check out. This one is focused more on the performance ( i.e; us trashing equipment). Enjoy."
• Even though "St. Vincent Decor" is not due out until Spring of 2010 does not mean that Blackmarket is holding out on you! The band have released the video for their first single, "Tongue Twister Typo."
