Quick Hits: Band Of Horses, This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2, Former Thieves, Murder By Death, Fang Island

• Band of Horses stopped by the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson recently to perform "Compliments" off their latest release "Infinite Arms."
• The first audio preview of the upcoming This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2 can be heard now via ThisCompKillsFascists.info. Preview tracks include "You'll See 8 Year Olds In Hell" by Owen Hart, "All The Regimes You Hold Most Dear" by Despise You, "Hollow Cost" by Apartment 213, and "Birth Cleanliness" by Idiots Parade. This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2 will see its North American release on June 22nd, June 28th internationally.
• No Sleep Records has welcomed the newest members of the family, Iowa's own, Former Thieves. Since their inception in 2009, the "Botch meets Modern Life Is War" quartet have managed to put in more footwork in a little over a year than mot bands do in their entire careers. Following their plans to tour in support of their recent 12" EP via Mayfly Records, Former Thieves will finish writing songs for their No Sleep debut. Head over to the band's MySpace now to hear a demo version of "Everything Has a Price, Everything is Stolen" which will be on the band's debut LP out in early 2011.
• Murder By Death release the second video off their recently released album, "Good Morning, Magpie." The video for "White Noise" was created by the Australian animator/design team of MaricorMaricar (Architecture in Helsinki, The Living End) and is based on a treatment by the band's cellist, Sarah Balliet, and explores the "ominous undercurrent" of the song.
• Dirty Laundry recently got Fang Island to stop by to chat with Special Guest Host Olivia Dudley while on tour in support of their eponymously named new album.
