Early November/A Million Different People frontman Ace Enders and his wife Jennifer welcomed Arthur Carl Enders IV into their lives on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 7:20pm. "Acey" weighed 7 lbs 13oz and was a staggering 20.5 inches. The proud parents were exhausted but incredibly happy on the birth of their very first child. Jenn (who accompanied Ace on the full stretch of his most recent tour while pregnant) said, "Acey's doing great and we'll share lots more details, pictures and stories on our baby blog once we get home from the hospital and settled in."
While it's unclear if China's current 60th birthday celebrations had anything to do with it, The (International) Noise Conspiracy's upcoming shows in the country have been canceled. Writes the band on their blog, "All our planned shows in China got cancelled by the Chinese authorities. We will get back soon with more updates and info about the situation. The local bands will still play the clubs and the festival, so please go out and support them."
Mightier Than Sword have announced album details for their newest signees, Albany-based After The Fall. "Collar City," the band's upcoming 7"/digital EP is set to be released on January 5th, 2010 through both MTS and Animal Style Records. Fans will be able to pre-order the album on October 30th, months before the start of the new year and the album's release. Mightier Than Sword will have a limited-edition baby blue pressing (ltd. 100), along with Animal Style's pink pressing (ltd. 100) and the band's clear, tour-exclusive pressing (ltd. 100).
