  • Alec Empire has announced the May 8th release through his Eat Your Heart Out Records of a mini album entitled "Shivers." Check out video of Empire recording synthesizers and speaking about the release on YouTube (Part 1, Part 2).
  • Check out this brand new video blip put together for fans to get a sneak preview of "Swoon," Silversun Pickups' upcoming release, due to hit stores April 14th.
  • Fearless Records signed The Word Alive last week. The Word Alive is a technical, rift-driven screamo band from Phoenix, AZ, fronted by Telle Smith (formerly of Greely Estates and In Fear and Faith.) "Excited is an understatement," says Telle. "We're all ecstatic to be a part of the Fearless family. We feel that signing with Fearless will open the door to many new opportunities. It will allow us to be on the road so we can share our music with fans across the country and hopefully worldwide."
  • Check out the new video for "1,000 Dreams" from Miss Kittin & The Hacker. The duo will release their highly anticipated new album, "Two," on May 19th.
  • Check out a new video from Company of Thieves, a live acoustic version of "Even in the Dark," one of the bonus tracks off their debut album Ordinary Riches.
  • Peter Kruder (one half of Kruder & Dorfmeister) previously remixed DJ Hell's huge "Listen To The Hiss" on Gigolo in 2005. The melodious "Visions LTD" (his first 12" in a long time) is Kruder's first Gigolo maxi and will be released on April 28th along with the track "Shine."
  • Total Fucking Destruction and Substance Abuse Skateboards are totally psyched to announce the release of the Peace, Love and Total Fucking Destruction skateboard deck! (Aaron Nichols 7-Ply 100% Canadian Maple Skateboard Deck. Deck Size: 7.75 x 31.75 Inches) Substance Abuse Skateboards was founded by J. Randall (Agoraphobic Nosebleed) and releases skateboards decks featuring bands and artists like tfd, cryptic slaughter, and Florian Bertmer. The band have also announced some upcoming shows: April 17th in Wilmington, DE, May 15th in Philly, May 16th in Allentown, PA, May 17th in NYC and July 4th in Philly.
