  • The All-American Rejects gave a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their video for the first single, “Gives You Hell” from the December 16th album, When The World Comes Down. To tease fans even more, the band has released photos from the set, including a shot of the band in their skivvies! Fans won’t have to wait much longer to catch a glimpse of their favorite Reject as the video for “Gives You Hell” is set to premiere on Yahoo! Music on November 3rd. The band has also released a special spooky message from Tyson, Nick, Mike & Chris for Halloween!
  • Just in time for Halloween comes O'Death's new video for "Lowtide" being premiered exclusively on Pitchfork TV. The dark and downright spooky clip was directed by Benh Zeitlin, who won the Wholphin Award at SXSW for Best Short Film. Zeitlin used stop motion animation, taking the entire band on a journey to the center of the earth.
  • Black Tide has just launched their Warriors of Time Animation series. The six part series is explained best by the band themselves, "Our Hero, known as The Bastard, is a living embodiment of metal music. We pit him against a robotic legion whose influence spans all of time and space. The song speaks to the urge in everyone to rage and rock out against all outside expectations. It is a call to arms against a mundane existence, and the Bastard is always there to answer in force, slaughtering the robot conformist authority for the sake of youth, rebellion, and the undying spirit of true metal." Check out the first in the epic series.
  • Be sure to tune in to Sounds Eclectic, hosted by Nic Harcourt on KCRW this Sunday at 7:00 pm (PST) to hear new tracks from Andy Yorke's solo debut, Simple. Nic will be playing cuts like "Rise and Fall." And be sure to keep up with Harcourt's video podcast series, Tuned In, as he will be featuring Yorke on an upcoming episode in November.
  • Brett Dennen's Hope for the Hopeless debuted #41 on Billboard's Top 200 chart, #4 on the Indie chart, and #6 on the digital chart yesterday and the single "Make You Crazy" is a top fifteen song on the AAA chart. He begins his sold out min-tour November 3 in Portland ending in New York on November 17. Check out the making of his new album "Hope For The Hopeless" on Imeem.com.
