  • Clutch's new album "Strange Cousins From The West" has moved its street date! Due to circumstances outside of the control of the band, the album will no longer be released on July 7th. The street date of the album has been moved back to one week to July 14th. Additionally a video has been released of artist Nick Lak previewing "Strange Cousins From The West album" packaging.
  • Looking for a truly unique music video? Check out the video for N.A.S.A.'s track "A Volta." The video is directed and animated by the production team Logan, and features the artwork of The Date Farmers. It follows a criminal underworld fighting for money in an artistically crafted urban setting.
  • While many music fans know Del Marquis mainly as the guitarist for the band The Scissor Sisters, Marquis showcases a deeper artistic approach in his solo work, including the recent Litter to Society. The release is a fully integrated multi-media project featuring music, shortform video, and longform "intersode" videos such as "The Third Rail." Promising to entertain fans of filmmakers like Fritz Lang, "The Third Rail" combines themes of oppression and a dystopian vision of the future with an abstract sci-fi feel. The experimental narrative project, produced by creative team Embryoroom (team behind the best-selling multi-angle DVD experience Kuvaputki), follows Viz, who is abducted by seemingly nonhuman captors. With an eye to current political events, the video includes shots of two young Iranian men who were recently executed because of their sexual orientation. Check out parts 1 and 2 of the video.
  • Throughout the month of July, Matt and Kim will play a mix of festival dates, Bacardi B-LIVE shows, and a free headlining show at Pier 54 in NYC on July 9th with Flosstradamus.
  • Manchester Orchestra are giving away a free download of their single, "I've Got Friends," from their sophmore release Mean Everything To Nothing. After you get your free download enter yourself for a chance to win tickets to see the band at Lollapalooza. For more details visit the contest page.
  • The solo project of Travis Stever (Coheed And Cambria), Davenport Cabinet, has launched the video for "Nostalgia In Stereo" - the title track from Stever's album released October 14th. The video premiere is currently live over at Ultimate-Guitar.com. The video for "Nostalgia In Stereo" was created entirely from fan-submitted footage that Stever acquired from his legions of fans on MySpace. Among the fans, Coheed And Cambria frontman, Claudio Sanchez, makes a very gruesome appearance in the video as well. Amidst a busy schedule with Coheed And Cambria, Stever plans to play a few shows as Davenport Cabinet in the near future.
  • The Juan MacLean stopped by Fuel TV's The Daily Habit. Check out video of live performances of "No Time" and "One Day."
