  • The Swedish septet rock outfit The Crystal Caravan has released the first track from their upcoming debut album, produced by Dennis Lyxzén (The (International) Noise Conspiracy, ex-Refused). The band has somewhat of a '68/'69 thing going with Hammond organs, percussion and Joe Cocker-ish vocals. The song is called "Between The Mountain And The Spoon" and is available on their MySpace.
  • Guns N' Roses have just released a new song off their upcoming Chinese Democracy album. "Better" is a melodic-rocker with infectious background vocals and sweeping guitar licks. Check it out at imeem.com. Chinese Democracy is out on November 23rd.
  • The Answer were on The David Letterman Show this past Friday night. Check out the band out performing the song "Never Too Late" off their new EP with the same title. The Answer are currently out on the road with AC/DC.
  • Bruce Springsteen's new album "Working on a Dream" has been set for a January 27 release on Columbia Records. "Working on a Dream" was recorded with the E Street Band and features twelve new Springsteen compositions plus two bonus tracks. It is the fourth collaboration between Springsteen and Brendan O'Brien, who produced and mixed the album.
  • On February 17, Common Existence, the fifth album from New Jersey post-hardcore legends Thursday, will arrive courtesy of Epitaph Records. The album was recorded by the six-piece band with producer Dave Friddman at Tarbox Road Studios in Cassadaga, NY.
