- With Mark Olson and Gary Louris currently on the road performing both new songs and classic Jayhawks tracks, the time is right to release the Jayhawks' first-ever compilation. "Music From The North Country: The Jayhawks Anthology" spans all six Jayhawks albums, including their debut on Twin-Tone (Blue Earth) and the five albums cut for American Recordings. "Music From the North Country" will be available as either a single CD, or a deluxe double-CD-plus-DVD set. The packages were put together under the guidance of Louris. The collection hits stores July 7th.
- The Hollywood Bowl has kicked off its 88th summer season, full of can't-miss outdoor performances. Don't miss Grace Jones, along with Of Montreal, and Dengue Fever, on Sunday July 26th, as part of the KCRW World Festival. Legendary new wave disco dominatrix Grace Jones makes her Bowl debut, touring in support of her first studio effort in 19 years, Hurricane. Jones says that her latest album, out now on Wall of Sound, was not a planned affair. "Hurricane was an accident. Blame it on Ivor Guest. I'd decided never to do an album again...we had a creative chemistry and the music just flowed." Creative indie rockers, Of Montreal, bring their flair to the stage, playing tracks off their latest release, "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?" Pop-rock outfit Dengue Fever will also take the stage, fresh off the release of their documentary, "Sleepwalking Through The Mekong." All releases are available now.

- The Editors have been confirmed as the Sunday headline act for this year's Bingley Music Live festival with Doves set to headline the Saturday night slot. The festival, September 4th-6th in the Yorkshire town of Bingley's Myrtle Park, is in its third year and looks to sell out across the dates. Calvin Harris, The Zutons, White Belt Yellow Tag, VV Brown, The Futureheads, Howling Bells and Detroit Social Club are amongst those also confirmed for the weekend. Tickets are £25 and available now.
- The 69 Eyes are due to release their 9th studio album "Back In Blood" on September 15th, via The End Records. Stream the first single, "Dead Girls Are Easy," now. The video will be directed by MTV superstar and close friend Bam Margera, who was also responsible for the Eyes' rock homage to ‘80s cult movie "The Lost Boys."
