  • Manchester Orchestra and Favorite Gentlemen have posted the ninth chapter of the band's video series. "Tony The Tiger" is available on ShockHound.
  • Currently touring the US on this year's Summer Slaughter Tour, New York-based extreme metal legends Suffocation are streaming their new album "Blood Oath" on Myspace Metal all week. The premiere comes on the heels of the vicious vets unveiling the title track from their new album, "Blood Oath," via their Twitter page. All tweeters/twitterers worldwide can tune in by clicking on the link provided from the band's latest tweet, or catch the track on the band's Myspace player as part of the full album stream. Blood Oath is due on July 14th, but a special bonus version - including an additional mix of "Undeserving" and an instrumental version of "Marital Decimation" - is available for pre-order on iTunes right now.
  • Mason Proper have released a new music video for their track "Safe For The Time Being." This is the second video the band has released from their sophomore album, "Olly Oxen Free."
  • The video for "Parrot," the forthcoming single from The Victorian English Gentlemens Club is now online. "Parrot" will be released on July 6th via This Is Fake DIY Records, and will feature on the band's forthcoming second album, "Love On An Oil Rig," which follows in September.
  • Placebo has achieved their highest US chart debut ever with their sixth studio album, "Battle For The Sun," released June 9th on Vagrant Records. "Battle For The Sun" entered the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #51, and for the first time ever, Placebo landed on the Top Independent Albums chart at #8. Additionally, this is the highest first week sales total of any Placebo release. "Battle For The Sun" is a worldwide triumph with a Top 10 debut in the UK, Australia, and Sweden album charts and Top 10 in most every European territory, including #1 in France, Germany, and Switzerland.
