  • Two videos from Punisher: War Zone movie have been released online. The first video features the song "The Past Is Proof" by Senses Fail. The second video features the song "Take Me Away" by 7 Days Away.
  • The Bronx recently premiered the video for "Young Bloods" on their MySpace page.
  • Germany's Destruction are celebrating their 25th year of ravaging the planet with their highly influential style of thrash! Their latest release D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. displays the trio's metal at its most comprehensive, showcasing the full spectrum of this band's powerful thrash approach which has carried them to the top ranks of thrash metal. A headlining full North American tour is being scheduled for 2009 - confirmed routing and tour lineup will be announced shortly.
  • Blind Pilot, following being iTunes' "Single of the Week," have been chosen by Starbucks to be Starbucks' "Pick of the Week" for the week of January 3, 2009. The "Pick of the Week" card, a physical card handed out at Starbucks' 7,000 US and Canada locations at either the barista drink hand-off point or the point of sale spot, will have a redemption code which consumers can then use at iTunes to receive a free download of Blind Pilot's "The Story I Heard," off of their debut full-length, "3 Rounds and a Sound" (Expunged Records). Cards are free to anyone who picks up one at any Starbucks, and no purchase is necessary to obtain one.
  • LA indie-rock band Army Navy have posted a new music video for "My Thin Sides." The video stars Paul Scheer from MTV's "Human Giant" and was directed by Jeremy Konner of "Drunk History" fame.
