- Ra Ra Riot was the featured band on maniaTV's live performance series "At The Show" recently. Watch their 4-part installment live at the Echo: "Each Year", "A Manner To Act", "Can You Tell", and "Dying is Fine".
- The All-American Rejects have just completed their video for the first single, "Gives You Hell," from their forthcoming album, When The World Come Down. The Marc Webb (AFI, Weezer, My Chemical Romance) directed video was shot in Los Angeles and features an "embarrassing underwear shot" of the band and an "evil Tyson neighbor." Check out the behind-the-scenes of the video.
- Brooklyn indie popsters Au Revoir Simone are gearing up for the November 11th release of Reverse Migration by offering up a handful of tracks from the album in advance of its release. Last month, Ruff and Jam's take on "Lark" was premiered by Stereogum. This week, the band has let the Pacific remix of "Sad Song" loose over on RCRDLBL.
- One of the most highly anticipated albums in rock history, Guns N' Roses long-awaited Chinese Democracy (Black Frog/Geffen Records) will be available globally on November 23 on CD and vinyl (accompanied by a free digital download of the tracks), and as a separate digital album. Produced by Axl Rose and Caram Costanzo, Chinese Democracy includes 14 tracks. The title track and first single from the album, "Chinese Democracy," was released to radio Wednesday at 5:00AM ET. Two of the recordings have been recently released--"Shackler's Revenge" debuted September 14 in the "Rock Band 2" videogame and "If The World" debuted October 11 in the film Body Of Lies.
