• Long-running Finnish doomsters Spiritus Mortis have entered the studio to begin recording their long-awaited third album, tentatively due in mid 2009 via Firebox Records. Firebox Records will also reissue bands debut album on later date. Studio diary/progress can be followed online.
• Melancholic gothic metal band Dark The Suns have released their first web single from their upcoming second album. You can download "Rimed with Frost." All Ends in Silence CD will be released by Firebox Records later on the spring. The album was recorded and mixed in Studio Watercastle, while Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios did the mastering.
