Quick Hits & Clips: Soren Well, Incoming Cerebral Overdrive, Gallows, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Avett Brothers

• Shoegaze indie-popsters Soren Well will be boarding a boat and playing down the East River on Sunday, October 4th at 4pm EST. While there will be a film crew present, the public are invited to come armed with real film cameras, video cameras, handicams, flipcams, iPhones, Blackberries, still cameras, cell phones, and just anything that can capture the event. All of that footage, captured by professionals, semi-pros, amateurs, and average bystanders, can be uploaded to this Vimeo group and will be incorporated into the official music video. Groups will gather at one of four locations: East River Park, Lower East Side, Manhattan, Grand Ferry Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Middle of the Manhattan and/or Brooklyn Bridges, and Fulton Landing Park, DUMBO, Brooklyn.
