  • I Surrender Records has announced the newest member of their family: Detroit’s Take Notice. The band will be entering the studio to write and record their debut album, slated for an early fall release on I Surrender Records. Their plans for the future are simple: “We want to inspire frustrated kids like we were to take control of their lives and build a dream for themselves. We want people to hear the heart in our music and hold it true to their own lives. We want other people to feel what Take Notice made us feel. And, we want to take everybody along for this ride.”
  • As He Is Legend prepare to release their third album, "It Hates You," on July 21st, the band has decided to give their fans a little taste of what’s to come by streaming the first single “The Primarily Blues” at their MySpace page.
  • The Sounds recently shot a video for their single, "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake," at Glasslands gallery in Brooklyn.
  • 13th Planet Records, the label helmed by Al Jourgensen of Ministry, has released a free digital EP for fans. Included in the download are unreleased songs, remixes, and videos from Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Prong, Burton C. Bell's Ascension of The Watchers, False Icons, and Stayte.
