  • New Brunswick, NJ's Communipaw and South Carolina-based music blog Sound As Language are offering the band's self-titled debut full-length for full free download on the site.
  • Magic Wands (Chris and Dexy Valentine) are busy tweaking their debut album (rumored to contain a cover version of Olivia Newton-John's, ‘Magic') for Bright Antenna at FM Recorders in Oakland, California. The duo has managed to step aside from their hectic schedule long enough to handball their aggressively infectious new single, ‘Warrior' to The xx for renovation and reinterpretation. The xx remix (edit) is available as a free download now via RCRD.LBL.
  • Tune in to WXPN 88.5 FM or online at YRockOnXPN.org on Friday, February 19 at 8 p.m. EST with Canadian indie-rock band Tegan and Sara as the twin sister duo takes over the XPN airwaves. The Quin sisters will share some of their favorite songs from New Order, The Gossip, Alicia Keys and even Philadelphia's own Memory Tapes. Plus, Tegan and Sara will chat with Josh T. Landow about their upcoming new album, "Sainthood."
  • The Hellfire Club have unveiled their headliners for the closing day of the first spin off event from the main Hellfire Festival. The Ghost of a Thousand will be joined by main support The Eyes of a Traitor on Sunday, May 9 and Hang the Bastards have been added to the line up on Friday, May 7.
