  • As previously announced, ZOO MUSIC will be releasing the limited edition "Badlands" 12" vinyl record on March 29 from Montreal minimalist Dirty Beaches. In anticipation of the release, he sat down with Yours Truly at San Francisco's Homestead for an intimate piano performance of "Golden Blonde."
  • Penguins Kill Polar Bears are giving their fans a chance to grab their brand new single "Wish With Worry" just by tweeting about it. It's the second single from their upcoming sophomore EP "Vessels & Veins," out March 22 on Dromedary Records.
  • Rise Against is just a few short weeks away from the March 15th release of their new album, "Endgame," via DGC/Interscope. In light of the release, Rise Against is unveiling webisodes featuring footage from the making of "Endgame" from The Blasting Room in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
  • Relapse Records has announced the signing of Coffins. Coffins is a three piece death/doom band from Tokyo, Japan that formed in 1996 and has previously released three full-length albums and numerous split releases. The band is currently writing for their fourth full-length and Relapse debut with plans to record later this year. The band will embark on their first-ever European tour this April alongside Sourvein and Aguirre as part of the "Doom Over Europe" tour. This tour will conclude with a performance as part of the sold-out Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands.
  • Bazillion Points Books has revealed the final cover artwork for Metalion: The Slayer Mag Diaries, a mammoth 744-page hardcover journey into black metal, death metal, and beyond by Norway's metal godfather Jon Kristiansen. "The greatest heavy metal story ever told" will be available June 6, 2011.
