  • Providence, RI's Megasus has just entered the studio to begin recording their highly anticipated sophomore album. The self-produced new album is due out later this year, with more details to be announced shortly.
  • Gangpol & Mit make their Ipecac Recordings debut on March 29 with the release of "The 1000 Softcore Tourist People Club," a fourteen-track album self-described as mutant synthetic pop, virtual orchestras and cinematic disco. Check out a teaser.
  • On June 7, Okkervil River will take the stage at Terminal 5, the largest NYC venue the band has ever played, in support of their highly anticipated new album, 'I Am Very Far' (out May 10, JAGJAGUWAR).

  • The Strokes released their newest single, "Under Cover Of Darkness," on February 9th via a stream on their website. The song will be available to download for free for 48 hours from www.thestrokes.com. "Under Cover Of Darkness" will be available to purchase digitally in the US via iTunes on February 15th.
