  • Swedish trio Movits! just kicked off the first leg of their US Tour in support of their new album "Out Of My Head." While on the road, the band is filing video reports for their video tour diary. Episodes #1 and #2 just went live.
  • Brutal Truth has completed work on their brand new full-length album "End Time." Brutal Truth recorded "End Time" with Doug White at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, NY. The self-produced album was mixed by Jason P.C. at Goatsound Studios and is currently being mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound. Advance song titles taken from End Time include: "Celebratory Gunfire," "Crawling Man Blues," "Old World Order," "Killing Planet Earth," "Gut-Check," "Addicted," "Drink Up," and "Control Room." "End Time" is expected to see a late summer 2011 release date.
  • Matters are streaming "Wild Steps" over at Stereogum.
  • Uppsala, Sweden's cult-beloved atmospheric rock group Jeniferever have posted the first video from their forthcoming epic third album, "Silesia." The animated clip for the song "The Beat of Our Own Blood" tells the true tale of director Ashley Dean's grandfather Jack Dean's brave escape from the coal mines of Silesia during WWII.
  • While front woman Laura Burhenn has been touring as a member of Bright Eyes, the Mynabirds have been anything but quiet. Last month they opened a string of shows for Bright Eyes, adding Richard Swift, producer of their 2010 release "What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood," to the band's line-up. Photographer/filmmaker Shervin Lainez was on hand to capture some great behind-the-scenes footage of the tour and set it to WWLITFWGITF's "LA Rain."
