  • The Shirts for a Cure Project has announced this year's SXSW day party will feature Paint It Black, Fake Problems, BANE, Title Fight, Riverboat Gamblers' Dave Hause and The Flatliners. This free event will be held at Red 7 (611 East 7th Street) on Friday March 18th, doors open at noon sharp. Donations will be collected at the door and are strong encouraged.
  • Dying Fetus has posted the re-mastered versions of "Kill Your Mother, Rape Your Dog" (taken from Killing On Adrenaline) and "Grotesque Impalement" (taken from Grotesque Impalement) online via the band's MySpace and Facebook pages. These re-mastered tracks come from the series of expanded Dying Fetus re-issues being released this year.
  • A new Relapse Records podcast is now available at Relapsepodcast.com. This month's podcast, as sponsored by MetalInjection.net, features an exclusive interview with John Gallagher of Dying Fetus plus brand new music from Obscura, Abysmal Dawn, Rotten Sound, Red Fang, and more.

  • The Sasquatch! Music Festival has announced that the event has completely sold out of all 100,000 tickets (25,000 per day over 4 days) in record time exactly one week from the lineup announcement.
