  • Singer/multi-instrumentalist/Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin's The New Regime has just released the stems for "Remission Of Guilt," a new song that's currently available as a free download on the band's website. Fans can remix, upload the song, and enter to win a pair of Ultimate Ears SuperFi5 Pro Dual Armature Earphones while they're waiting for the follow-up to 2009's "Coup" debut album which is slated for early 2011.
  • Tall Tall Trees are getting ready to record and self-release their next CD of banjo-driven folk rock. Savino and the boys are turning to Kickstarter. They're more than halfway to their $12,000 fundraising goal now, but they still need some more cash money to get the project of the ground.
  • Chicago, IL's Indian have entered Semaphore Recordings to begin work on their Relapse debut. The yet-untitled full length will be engineered by Sanford Parker (Unearthly Trance, Pelican, Minsk) and is expected to see an early 2011 release date.
  • Stereogum has premiered "Quietly, Undramatically," the title track from the upcoming new full-length from Philly black metallers Woe.
  • Though it's been nearly a decade since Rival Schools released their classic debut album "United By Fate," the guys have been making up for lost time this year by playing shows all over the US and Europe and finishing up a new album. Titled "Pedals," the rockers' new full-length hits stores March 8th through Photo Finish/Atlantic Records. Fans can get an early sneak peek of what to expect with the release of a new music video and deluxe digital single for the track "Shot After Shot."
