- Get a free MP3 download of "Skin to Skin," from The Sway Machinery's new album, "The House of Friendly Ghosts, Volume 1," out February 8 on JDub Records. The track features Timbuktu-based singer Khaira Arby.
- Dying Fetus has posted the re-mastered versions of "Grotesque Impalement" (taken from ‘Infatuation With Malevolence') and "Skull Fucked" (taken from ‘Purification Through Violence') on the band's MySpace and Facebook pages. These re-mastered tracks come from the band's forthcoming, expanded re-issues of earlier albums that will see their release early this year, which coincidently marks the 20th anniversary of the Baltimore area death metal juggernauts.
- Decibel Magazine's blog has premiered the new video for "Grayed Out," the opening track from "Corroded," the upcoming full-length from Virginia grindsters Drugs of Faith. The video is a stripped-down vision of the band simply rocking. The video was filmed by Handshake Inc., the same crew that has provided visuals and movies for Today Is The Day and Fuck The Facts, and also filmed the Maryland Deathfest movie.
- On April 5th, Chicago's Scattered Trees will release their full-length record, "Sympathy," via Roll Call Records/EMI. In honor of the album's release, the band is making their track "A Conversation About Death on New Years Eve" available for free download. The band will also be performing in Chicago on January 21 at Schubas.
- Tennis have made available a video for the song "Pigeon" (directed by Jeremy D'Souza and Scott Laidlaw).
