- My Old Kentucky Blog is hosting the world premiere of "My Time," the new single from New York surf/psych outfit The Vandelles. The single is from the band's forthcoming EP "Summer Fling" which will be released to coincide with their 2011 SXSW appearance in March.
- "Hater," the new album by Total Fucking Destruction, is released worldwide this month. The band's also got two new music videos for "Battle Command in Future War" (produced by Dan O'Hare for Mark-It-Zero Studios) and "Weaponization of the Mega-Self" (produced by Tyson Montrucchio).
- Jason Simon, guitarist and vocalist for Dead Meadow, recently released his self-titled solo album via Tee Pee Records. AOL Spinner has premiered "Good Hope Road," the new music video from the album. "Good Hope Road" was directed by Simon Chan for Artificial Army (Dead Meadow, The Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, etc.) and features Simon performing the song as a slew "unlikely co-stars" enjoy the ride.
- Turisas are gearing up to release their lauded new album 'Stand Up and Fight' on March 8th and are now giving fans their first chance to hear the record by streaming it exclusively at their MySpace page.
- It's been announced that the next Battles record, "Gloss Drop," will be released June 7 on Warp Records.
