Rise Records Celebrates Record Store Day With Special Releases From Piebald, Transit

In celebration of Record Store Day 2011, Rise Records is bringing two packages to the table: Piebald's triple gatefold 3x12" and Transit's "Promise Nothing" 7".

Limited edition of 1,000, this Piebald 3x12" triple gatefold colored vinyl (green, yellow and blue) was created just for Record Store Day 2011. Rise Records decided to press Piebald's best three albums and put them all in one package. Equipped with matching colored vinyl this vinyl package won't last long. Albums included are: "When Life Hands You Lemons," "If It Weren't for Venetian Blinds It Would Be Curtains for Us All" and "We Are the Only Friends We Have."

Boston's beloved Transit recorded these two songs exclusively for Record Store Day 2011. This 7" is strictly limited to 1,000 copies on colored vinyl (300 green/gray - 700 blue/clear). Transit are avid fans of vinyl as are their fans. They embark on a two month long tour with Senses Fail and Man Overboard this March and April.
