The undisclosed location is just blocks from where Rodrigo y Gabriela first made a name for themselves by busking on Grafton Street in Dublin. Tales of their talent spread across Ireland by word of mouth and they soon became a household name, poised to break out into the rest of Europe, the United States, and beyond. Since those early days they have traveled across the globe and performed in some of the largest venues in the world. This one off gig gives fans a rare chance to see Rodrigo y Gabriela perform in a small venue at close proximity to where it all began.

The significance of the date 11/11 will not be lost on their fans. Rodrigo y Gabriela's most recent studio album is entitled 11:11 and sees them playing tribute to 11 musicians who have inspired and influenced them. The follow up to their stunning self-titled debut, 11:11 met and exceeded the expectations of fans and critics alike. "One listen to 'Hanuman' or even 'Buster Voodoo'" wrote Relix, "and you know you're in for a wild throbbing ride that predictably intensifies when Testament's Alex Skolnick joins them on 'Atman.'" Guitar World said, "it's impossible to imagine that just two guitars can produce this level of musical density and complexity."

Rod & Gab are coming to Dublin direct from an unprecedented five night stand at one of their favourite venues - the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. The shows on November 2nd, 3rd, 5th 6th and 7th, and saw Rod & Gab play to 10,000 fans during the residency. The duo played three sold out shows at the venue in May 2007.
