San Francisco Get Ready For LoveFest

The San Francisco LoveFest is only weeks away, and the official LoveWeek kicks off on Wednesday the 26th. 111 Minna has been home to the Qool crew going on 10 years, and this is their second year as the Love season openers for electronic music’s number one destination in N. America, the San Francisco Lovefest. Saturday is the official main event, with festivities kicking off at 12 noon at 2nd & Market, and continuing till 8 PM at the end of the parade route in Civic Center Plaza

SF Lovefest is a day of celebration for dance music fans. This event is in its fourth year and makes the statement that all forms of electronic music are FAR from over, quite the contrary folks, Lovefest showcases that regardless of the rumors cast about by many mainstream avenues, dance music is quite alive and healthy. SF Lovefest was 60,000 people strong last year.

The brightest stars, of all genres in electronic music, will be heard throughout LoveWeek, and beckoning like DJ pied pipers down Market Street on the 29th. With international talent scheduled to play, we should also mind the locals, as San Francisco has long boasted A-List talent, all of whom will be participating in their fair city’s ode to electronic music. This year includes Mark Farina, Sasha, Gabriel & Dresden, Ferry Corsten, Miguel Migs, and with fast rising talent such as Justin Martin and Eddie Halliwell, there is something for everyone.
