Saturday Looks Good To Me, the indie pop collective from Ann Arbor, Michigan, release "The Americans" on June 9th. The first single taken from "Fill Up The Room", the band's critically acclaimed fourth album, "The Americans" ties in with two sold-out London shows on June 13th and June 14th.
Riding on a deliriously infectious piano line and a melody infused with the joys of summer, "The Americans" tells a story that's bound to be familiar to any American group visiting the UK. Fans are adoring yet still find time to poke fun, while nights are full of dreaming dance floors and brief encounters. It's both a love letter to a country the band clearly adore and a song about feeling out of place and very far from home. All delivered in two and a half minutes.
The band tour Europe from May 21st onwards, and will be in the UK on June 13th and June 14th. They play The Luminaire on June 13th and the 100 Club on June 14th, both as main support to Darren Hayman, who'll be playing a set of Hefner songs.
