Sick Puppies To Tour US With FlyleafFollowing their April 3 RMR / Virgin Records debut release, Dressed Up As Life, Australian indie-rock trio Sick Puppies will tour in support of Flyleaf on the second leg of the Justice and Mercy tour. Check out the dates below and let me know if you’re interested in tickets or interviews!

Following their successful homemade video for the first single, “All The Same,” the Sick Puppies have become one of biggest viral sensations on the Internet sparking over 12 million views on YouTube alone and making their video the #10 most viewed video of all time on the site. The group also recently took home YouTube’s "Most Inspirational" video award in the media giant’s first-ever awards.

Prior to the tour, broadcast, cable and online media have spread the love all over the states. KROQ LA made "All The Same" their first add of 2007 just off hearing the music from the "Free Hugs" video, which has spread to stations across the country with stations like Q101 in Chicago, Live105 in San Francisco, 89X in Detroit, KCXX Riverside, WBTZ in Burlington and KROX in Austin adding the song early. The group also make their US TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 5th.

In the group’s first year of existence after meeting as high schoolers in Sydney, the irresistibly persuasive guitar-powered melodic rock of Sick Puppies had already won them the title of “Best Live Act” at the Australian Live Music Awards; critical praise as “the most dynamic new band in the country” (Rolling Stone Australia), and the breathless description “so young, so accomplished, so now” (Ground Zero).
