Smoking Popes Added To Lollapalooza Aftershow

Chicago's own Smoking Popes are happy to announce that they will be the main support for Flogging Molly at the Official Lollapalooza Aftershow Party, August 2 at the Congress Theatre. The party is open to the public, ages 18+ with doors at 9pm. Also appearing will be Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. Tickets are $25.

The Smoking Popes just released their first studio CD in nearly a decade - Stay Down - through Appeal Records. Their signature style of pop-punk is alive and well, with amazing reviews beginning to roll in. The CD is reminiscent of their classic style, with big crisp guitar hooks highlighting Josh Caterer's crooning melodies. It's a soundtrack for summertime. Stay Down is sure to please Popes fans, both old and new alike.

This Lollapalooza show will kick off a short west coast album release tour for the band. Upcoming summer tour dates include:
