Ottawa's The Acorn will be embarking on an extensive fall tour of North America to support their forthcoming album, "No Ghost," coming out September 7th on Bella Union, available digitally now. The band recorded the album at a secluded cottage in Northern Québec, and will bring elements of that rustic atmosphere with them on the road with a thematic stage show, props, special guests, and more.
Check out the Megafaun remix of "Kindling To Cremation," premiered by long-time Acorn fans My Old Kentucky Blog. There's also a Four Tet/Born Ruffians remix 12-inch, available in select indie stores now.
On previous tours, The Acorn have joined Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Calexico and a massive, sold-out tour in 2009 with Mercury Prize winners, ELBOW.
